This was beautiful. When I was in secondary (high) school, there was plentiful of rascist jokes. They say it was a joke, but that doesn't matter. It is still rascist. Especially when one mentions they DO NOT find it funny and they carry on. It wasn't nice. I was made the bad guy for telling them how I felt about their "jokes". My experience was nothing like yours. However, I can understand in a tiny way. Glad you're here to tell the tale. This was wonderful to read. Thank you for sharing!
