What they really mean is that we can all think whatever we want, as long as they get to do whatever they please. Meanwhile, the rest of us have to play along with them, indulging their whims.

I can safely say this is happening in the United Kingdom too. Although, not as bad, but it is possible it could worse! Social media makes it easy now for an opinion to turn into a popular belief. This makes it extremely dangerous for anyone who wishes to oppose it. I could keep talking, but I'll leave it there. Well done on an excellent piece.
