As we age, we gain independence and begin to venture into new worlds. We move away from our family circles. We move away from our childhood friendships. Thus, making new friends more suitable to our evolved selves.

We also delightfully grasp opportunities that aid our strengths.

This is only natural.

Of course, some take longer than others — that is okay. As long as we climb that wall into new territory and grow as people, we can continue.

Although, what is waiting on the other side is chaos, pain, and little ant-sized problems that seem like mountains. And these ant-sized issues have the potential to irritate the crap out of us.

When really, they can be crushed, ignored, or forgotten about. We can walk away, not look back — just like the cool seasoned geeza in the picture — and focus on what’s ahead.

Saying in our heads or out loud “it is what it is” strips the clothes away from the big bully, only to reveal skin and bones.

Doing this, will prevent the tiny ant mountains causing us anymore chaos and pain that will halt our progression. The mentioned leading us into a more vibrant and positive life.

Stay calm and see the little…
